Bath Cycling club are supporting a Junior Road Race team for the first time. Hayden, Will, Nic, Charlie and George have got off to a flying start to the season with 3 wins under the belts and a host of top 10 finishes. This is added to Hayden’s older brother Miles 3 wins. Their early season success has been rewarded by their entries being accepted for the first two Junior National Tour series races and the chance to compete against the best Juniors in the country.
The team has been very active in the first few months of the season, although unfortunately with the suspension of racing at odd down we have missed the last few weeks. The Junior team has had a successful start to the season with Miles (2 wins at Odd Down 4th Cat and 1 at Odd Down 2/3), George (1 win in junior Odd Down), Will (2 wins at 4th Cat), Nic finishing top 10 in almost every race he enters. Hayden has had a bit of bad luck with a couple of punctures and a mild virus last week that stopped him racing.
Hayden is a current member of’ British Triathlon’s National Junior Talent Squad’ (6 boys funded Nationally on this squad)
